Overview

We had an exciting opportunity to undertake 3D rendering project for Raychem who needed advanced visualizations to showcase their product effectively.

The scope included developing

A dynamic, interactive 360-degree view.

A normal isometric view for use on their website and product catalogue.

A short, engaging 5-10 seconds application video, similar to an exploded ("bombarded") view found in references like AMPACT.

Problems
Faced

Ambiguous Initial Brief

The initial requirement for the bombarded (exploded) view was unclear, resulting in multiple calls to refine the client’s vision.

Iterative Refinement

Due to evolving expectations from the client, we had to continually adjust and accommodate feedback, demanding high flexibility and swift adaptability from our design team.

Complexity of 360-Degree Render

Ensuring high-quality output for the 360-degree renders involved multiple iterations to meet and exceed the client’s visual expectations.

Solutions

Continuous Client Engagement

We scheduled multiple brief calls and review sessions to clarify requirements and align closely with the client's expectations, ensuring no misunderstandings impacted delivery.

Multiple Iterations for Excellence

Delivered various versions of the 360-degree view, allowing the client ample choices and ensuring the final deliverable matched their vision.

Efficient Time Management

Despite continuous adjustments and refinements, our structured project management approach allowed us to complete all deliverables smoothly and within the agreed.

 Outcome

We successfully delivered all three components—an isometric view, a series of 360° renders, and a dynamic application video—on time and with high visual precision. The client was thoroughly impressed, particularly with the quality and clarity of the bombarded animation. This milestone project not only exceeded expectations but also reinforced our capabilities in 3D rendering, laying a strong foundation for future visual storytelling opportunities
