How to insert Video into PowerPoint?

Incorporating videos into PowerPoint presentations enriches the overall experience, providing a dynamic and engaging way to convey complex ideas or emphasize key points. Videos can effectively illustrate real-world examples, demonstrate processes, and evoke emotions, thereby boosting audience retention and understanding. Furthermore, videos break the monotony of static slides, capturing attention and maintaining interest throughout the presentation.

Let us see how we can insert videos within PowerPoint Presentation tool using the following steps:

For PowerPoint 2019, 2016, 2013, and PowerPoint for Microsoft 365:

  • Open your PowerPoint presentation and navigate to the slide where you want to insert the video.
