Namaste Everyone!
Welcome back to another chapter of the INK refills! Let's do a quick recap - I joined this fascinating world of presentation design at INK PPT on April 18, 2022, stepping into the role of Communication Consultant.
So, to be honest, those initial days were quite nerve-wracking! You know that feeling when you're not sure if you've got what it takes? That was me, questioning myself at every step.
But I trusted my instincts, and here I am, over two years later, still learning something new everyday here at INK PPT. Who would've thought that working with a presentation design agency could be so enriching, right?
Aayush ka aashirwad, Aayushman Bhav at INK PPT ;)
Reflecting back on 2022, I truly underestimated myself. Doubts clouded my mind, especially when my colleague Puneet took a month-long break for his wedding right after I joined. Talk about a trial by fire! But you know what? I survived and thrived, thanks to the support from not one, but two Aayush’s—one being the Founder of INKPPT, and the other my beloved husband Aayush—along with a lot of backing by the entire INK Team! I feel truly blessed to belong here and to have been welcomed into this fab team with open arms.
Meri Hiring Aur HR Ki Firing - kya main itni ashubh hu??? - Nahiiiii!
Soon after my hiring, sadly, our HR was let go. Aayush divided the HR responsibilities among us managers accordingly. I was tasked with managing our Morning Huddle, where we discussed daily job assignments and shared them with the entire team via email. Sounds a little dull, doesn't it? Honestly, I thought so too. So, why not add a creative touch? I started including a song in the subject line of the morning huddle email, chosen based on the day's workload to set the mood for the day. This small gesture was greatly appreciated and brought a fun twist to our routine.
Kya tum bilkul waise ho, jaisa maine socha tha…??
Absolutely not! Working from home sounded like a dream at first. The idea of blending work and home life seemed like the perfect solution. Little did I know, iske apne hi challenges hain, especially for a working mom like me. Balancing professional responsibilities with family duties has been overwhelming, and sometimes it feels like I'm barely keeping my head above water.
As a work-from-home mom, I wear many hats – a daughter-in-law, wife, mother, and an employee. It's a constant juggling act, trying to meet everyone's expectations while also carving out time for myself. And you know what? I have to admit that I'm only human, I can't do it all, and that's okay. I'm learning to prioritize what's truly important and let go of the rest. Trust me, it's freeing.
My team’s faith in me was a tremendous motivator. With their support in exactly my own style “Kar har maidan fateh” I pushed through the challenges. Slowly and steadily, I got hold of this newfound love for PPT design, and it became my passion.
Na darega dil imtihaano se, Phir ladega dil do jahano se!
Despite the challenges, I've learned to embrace the chaos and celebrate the small victories. Whether it's nailing a presentation or just getting through the day without losing my mind, every win counts.
So here's to all the working moms out there who can't do it all – you're not alone. It's okay to ask for help, to set boundaries, and to put yourself first sometimes. Because a happy, fulfilled mom is far better than an exhausted one.
Keep shining, keep inspiring, and never settle for anything less than what you truly deserve. And remember, amidst all the hustle and bustle, you deserve a break too. Take time for yourself, recharge, refill, and bounce back stronger than ever.
Ranjhanaa hua main mera… kaun mere bin mera!
Here's to embracing our imperfections and finding strength in vulnerability. Until next time, take care and remember to give yourself a pat on the back every now and then. You deserve it!
Lots of Love,
Vinita Aayush Ojha (VAO)
